Sustainability

Sustainability is on everyone’s minds right now, and for good reason. We have to take care of the planet if we want it to continue giving us amazing things to eat.
At The T Shop, I want you to feel good about what you put in your body, and what you put back in the earth. I do my small part by packing The T Shop treats in home-compostable packaging—labels and all!
I use Elevate Packaging’s compostable cellophane bags, which are made from bio-resins and wood cellulose. They are ASTM D6400 compliant, BPA-free and non-GMO.
Made in the US, Elevate’s flexible packaging produces less waste and greenhouse gas emissions than rigid packaging. It also requires fewer natural and transit resources to produce.
For labels, I use StickerIt’s eco-friendly line. They’re made from wood pulp and are printed with certified compostable and vegan inks.
Even my business cards are on board. Greenerprinter’s paper is 100% Post-Consumer Waste, FSC®-certified virgin fiber, chlorine free, and manufactured using renewable biogas energy. It has the smallest environmental footprint in North America’s paper industry. It’s also printed with vegetable-based and algae ink.
